New 6-Inch Gutters and Fresh Siding on a Brick Home

This home needed a serious upgrade on the exterior - old gutters that weren't moving water efficiently and an upper-story section that needed fresh siding to tie the whole look together. We went with 6-inch white gutters for this one. Why 6-inch instead of the standard 5-inch? Simple - they move significantly more water. That matters a lot on a home with a good amount of roof pitch and surface area. Bigger gutters mean less overflow during heavy rain, which means better protection for the fascia, siding, and foundation below.

The dark navy siding on the upper level really came together once the white gutters were in place. The contrast between the new siding and the original brick is sharp. It's one of those combinations that just works - the home feels intentional and well put-together rather than pieced together over the years.

A gutter system is one of those things most homeowners don't think about until something goes wrong. By then, you're usually dealing with water damage, wood rot, or erosion along the foundation.
